This is Bruce, an elderly long-coated GSD cross who found himself in the pound, neglected and unloved. It was this photo that Oldies Club member Lyn fell for, and soon enough Bruce was on his way to her home.
Bruce’s coat was appallingly matted:
and it took a tremendous effort on the part of his foster carer to clean him up and make him comfortable. But, after some hard work, Bruce was looking and feeling much better….

Poor Bruce has had to be put to sleep. He had only a few happy weeks with Lyn in the end, but at least he went loved and wanted at the end of his sad life.
