19/11/2006: Brindle had been in Oldies Club care for months and hadn’t had a single enquiry from anyone interested in giving him a home, until this weekend.
We couldn’t work out why Brindle was receiving no interest, as he’s really a lovely dog. We added a news item to the website to draw attention to his plight and then a few days later we at last had an enquiry.
The interested people are a greyhound-experienced family and had sadly lost their two greyhounds over the last six months. They were desperate to visit Brindle.
The visit went well – they are all smitten with one another – and Brindle has gone to his new home today.
Everyone at the Oldies Club is so pleased that Brindle has finally found the loving home he so deserves.
Note that Brindle is one of the oldie stars on our Christmas cards this year. All of the dogs featured on the card have now found homes and will be spending Christmas with their very own families.
