Max was pining away… But now he’s settled in his new home!

We were recently asked, by The Ark in Lincolnshire, to add the Max’s details to the Oldies Club website. Max had arrived at The Ark as his elderly owner had had to go into a home.

We were told that Max was completely distraught and crying in his kennel. He was so distressed that he wouldn’t let Ark staff near him and they were afraid that he would pine away. Max needed a new home urgently.

This is the pitiful photo of Max that we received:

Once Max’s details were added to the Oldies Club, The Ark were inundated with enquiries about him – from concerned people from all over the country. Amongst the enquiries was one from a family that was perfect for Max. So, within a week of appearing on the Oldies Club, Max was in his new, loving home.

Max has made tremendous progress in his new surroundings and his delighted owner has sent lots of updates and photos to The Ark. And, as so many people have been following Max’s story, The Ark have dedicated a special page on their website to him.

We are delighted for Max, and knowing that we have helped him into his new life is a perfect Christmas present for everyone involved with the Oldies Club.
