22/2/10 Ben has found a wonderful new home at last. We are so pleased for him!
Update 17/10/09 – Ben is still waiting for a new home and he’s been overlooked for so long now that he’s really missing his home comforts. To relieve his distress the kennels staff take every opportunity to get him into the paddock where he can play with his toys, as this is his favourite thing in the whole world! It’s still not the same as a home of his own though, so please give this lovely lad a second glance.
Ben is a 7+ year old male crossbreed who came into the care of the RSPCA’s Manchester & Salford branch as his elderly owner could no longer give him the care he deserves.
Ben is good with children and cats and, although he is fine with other dogs when he meets them, he does tend to get jealous if he has to share cuddles. Because of this, he would want to be the only dog in his home. He can be quite vocal when he’s left so he needs a home where someone will be with him most of the time. Ben loves his tennis balls and would have you throwing them for him all day. He will sit and give you his paw when asked.
