9/7/13 – After a long wait, Trixie has finally found a home! Have a wonderful life, sweetie.
Trixie can’t believe she’s been waiting so long for her forever home. She has featured on the Oldies Club website since July 2009. She’s being well cared for by Dogs Trust, West Calder, but she really wants a comfortable home all of her own with someone special to love.
Trixie is a lively 13 year old Crossbreed girl. She’s a real softy who thrives on fuss and cuddles and she adores people. Trixie loves to play and really enjoys going for walks so she’d like to live with someone who has a fairly active lifestyle.
Trixie is good with cats, but she can be a little bossy with other dogs. She’s looking for somewhere she can be the only dog and have one-to-one attention from her new owner.
Trixie is good in the home. She’s housetrained and doesn’t mind being left alone for reasonable periods of time. She’d be fine living with a working family provided that she could have a break through the day.
Trixie’s perfect home would be one with a calm, but assertive owner and she would be fine living with children aged 12 years and over. She’s a very intelligent girl and would respond well to some further training. This shouldn’t be too difficult a task because Trixie can’t resist her treats!
If you think you can offer Trixie her forever home and make her wish come true, please contact Dogs Trust, West Calder as follows;
