Handsome Jack featured as “Old Dog of the Week” on the Oldies Club website back in October 2010, and he was lucky – he was spotted there by his wonderful new owners who adopted him in January this year. They have written to us to let us know how Jack is getting on:
We just had to tell you what a wonderful dog Jack is and how he has just settled into our lifestyle even at 10 years old!
He is polite and loving and patient and likes nothing better than his food and a cuddle and being stroked. He enchants everyone he meets. Even at 10 he can still run on his walks and yet he has learnt to stop when we get to points where we have to put his lead on.
He never puts a paw wrong and we’re so glad we found him. Thank you for making him Dog of the Week or we may never have found him!
Jack was a firm favourite with the Oldies Club volunteers when we saw his details added to our website so we’re thrilled he is doing so well!
