UPDATE 8/1/2012 LILLIE STILL NEEDS A HOME!
If you can’t offer Lillie a home, but live within about 3 hours of Oxfordshire, could you download and print her poster and put it up somewhere the public can see, to help spread her story?

Lillie is a 12 year old Collie x Whippet x Jack Russell. Although Lillie is in a foster home at the moment, she really isn’t getting on with the other dog in the home and may have to move into kennels over Christmas if Oldies Club cannot find a suitable foster or forever home for her.

Ideally we’d like to find someone committed to giving Lillie a home for the rest of her life, so she doesn’t have to have any more disruption than is essential, but if you think you might be able to foster Lillie but can’t commit to adopting her, we would still love to hear from you!

Lillie is OK with dogs out and about, and she is a really loving dog who desperately wants to be in her own home. She really needs that very special person of her own as she is a little nervy and can be jealous around other animals. She is fine to be left for a few hours, but when you are in the house, she wants to be with you and keep you company, and she can be destructive if she can hear you elsewhere in the house but can’t get to you. She’d make a fabulous companion to someone who has no other pets, wants a very loving dog and can be there for her most of the time.

Lillie’s fosterer says “All she wants to do all day is sit on her human’s knee and get lots of love and affection. The only thing she loves more than walks is making her human happy and she has me laughing on multiple occasions every day. Her favourite trick to make you laugh is standing on her back legs with the cheekiest grin on her face. I am met every morning when I walk downstairs with her prancing around on her back legs wagging her tail like she has not seen me in three days…”
