13/8/2011 Ziggy has found his forever home.
Ziggy is a handsome male deerhound approx 10 years old. He was originally found as a stray and has been in the care of St Giles Kennels for many months. At the moment, Ziggy is in a temporary foster home but he will need to return to the kennels again if a suitable home is not found very soon.
Ziggy is currently living with children aged 8 and older. His foster carer reports that he is a very well behaved, clean and gentle dog. He is fully house trained and from the very first night has slept peacefully without any barking, howling or crying.
Ziggy is neutered and has no known medical problems.
Despite his age, Ziggy is still very active and really looks forward to his walks. He can easily manage an hour at a moderate pace. He can also manage the stairs in the house without any problems at all.
He is fine with other dogs but is not suitable to live with cats.
This lovely boy has been waiting a long time for his forever home. Can you be the one to help him find that perfect place to spend his retirement years.
Please note that any potential homes will be required to undergo a home check prior to adoption.
