6/12/12 Kali has found her forever home.
Kali is a lovely older whippet cross about 12-13 years old, currently in the safe care of West Yorkshire Dog Rescue who are helping her to find a new home.
Kali is such a quiet old girl and will only bark if she thinks she’s going for a walk. She does love going for a walk and will happily walk next to you and does not pull on the lead at all. She is very well behaved off lead and will come back when called. Kali is good with the two dogs she is being fostered with and just tends to ignore them. She is a little scared of yappy dogs though so would suit a home with a quiet older dog like herself.
Kali is well behaved in the house and doesn’t chew, she doesn’t bark if left alone for up to 4 hours and travels well in the car. She is altogether a perfect dog. Kali is good with children so would be fine with visiting children but has now reached an age where she would prefer a quiet, child-free home. Kali would suit a home with an older couple who will give her the attention, walks and love she needs.
Poor Kali has rotten teeth with pus coming out of the gums but she will be getting a full dental under anaesthetic prior to rehoming. At the moment she is underweight because she hasn’t been able to eat properly but this should improve once her teeth problems have been sorted out and with a good diet to build up her muscle strength.
