10/1/13 Lovely little Sid has found a new home. He was first spotted on the Oldies Club website
Border Terrier, Sid, is eight years old and he’s being rehomed by Rovers Dog Rescue in Essex. Poor Sid has had a few homes over the past years, so he’s hoping the next one will be forever.
One of Sid’s homes lasted for a year, but sadly his owner had medical problems and had to rehome him. Then in his last home, Sid was a little territorial towards male visitors and postmen, so he came into the care of Rovers Dog Rescue. Sid is now in one of the rescue’s foster homes in Blackmore, Essex, where he’s been undergoing some training. His foster carer says he’s a very responsive boy and a pleasure to have around.
Although Sid is a senior he still enjoys long walks and is quite agile, but once he’s had his walk he’s very happy to chill indoors. Sid can live with older children and other dogs, subject to introductions, but he needs somewhere without cats, small furries and livestock.
Sid is neutered and he’s in good health. He’s looking for a home with confident owners who are happy to continue with his training.
