An urgent plea from our Treasurer

Oldies Club is now an established organisation and it’s probably easy to think that we have all the help and funds we need. However, we can only continue whilst we are receiving the support of our volunteers and any fundraising help they can give us.

Funds are running very low at the moment, and although we have enough funds to give our current dogs all the care and vet treatment they are likely to need, we need at least £400 before we can take in another dog.

Dogs that come into Oldies Club care become a part of our ‘family’. Each dog is treated exactly the same as our own family pets: whatever they need they get.

Please continue to help us, as without our supporters we cannot continue to exist. Any help whatsoever given to us is very much appreciated. We can’t do this without you.

A few Oldies Club facts:

  • Everyone involved with Oldies Club is a volunteer
  • Our vet bills are usually between £4,000 and £10,000 per month
  • Many dogs arrive in our care in a very poor state. Some can be made fit for rehoming, but some sadly can’t and they stay in our care permanently
  • We always have dogs waiting to come in to our rescue, some urgently. Please help us to continue helping dogs like little Maisie and gorgeous Ben. Thank you!
