Burt and Ernie (Bath Cats and Dogs Home)

21/3/13 – Great news! Burt and Ernie will be going home with a wonderful family on Good Friday. Although they will be missed at Bath, the staff there are very happy for them, as are we at Oldies!

This cute pair is Ernie and Burt (longer coat) who are elderly brothers needing a home together as they love each other. They are super-sweet Jack Russell Terriers aged 12 years who came to Bath Cats and Dogs Home when their owner sadly died.

Ernie sadly has cancer – a lump was found on his throat. He has about 3 to 9 months left to live, but is a typical terrier and not showing any sign of letting it affect him. BCDH would like to find them a loving home together so Burt is settled when Ernie dies.

They are content with a couple of short walks a day and a little playtime – Ernie loves his tennis ball and will wag his tail as he potters after it. They can live with other quiet dogs and are used to children.

They are relaxed and happy chaps who make fabulous companions.
