5/8/13 Max has gone to his new home and is settling in nicely!
Gentle Max is sitting patiently, thinking wistfully that maybe a forever home will come along for him soon. Max is a 10+ year old, male, Terrier Crossbreed who is in the care of RSPCA Essex South West rescue kennels in Waltham Abbey.
Max has clearly had a nice home as he is a lovely boy and is well trained. He does not pull on the lead and he knows lots of commands, including ‘sit and stay’, and he gives his paw without expecting a treat! He is very gentle when accepting a treat and would form a close bond with any new owner as he likes to be close to you when he is playing in the paddock and he is very eager to please.
Max seems to be okay with the other dogs he has met at the kennels so far. It is unknown how he reacts with cats. As he is a gentle soul, it’s felt that he could be re-homed with older children.
Max is a wonderfully gentle boy and would make someone a super companion and the staff are keen to see him in a nice home as soon as possible. Poor Max must wonder what on earth has happened to him but, to his credit, he is coping well in kennels and is enjoying all the fuss and attention.
Max has been checked by the vet and has no known medical needs. He has been neutered.
Do you have room in your heart and home for this brilliant fella? He is a nice-natured boy and wants to be loved and enjoys any affection. Such a lovely gentleman would settle in most home environments.
