Oldies Club management changes

Amy Jones has sadly decided to step down as Chair and trustee of Oldies Club. Amy has worked very hard in her time as Chair, in what is a constantly demanding role, and we would like to thank her for her dedication. We are delighted that Amy is staying on as a member of the management committee and she will be keeping her roles in Admin, Events and Transport. (So she’s hardly going to be putting her feet up!)

We are pleased to announce that Sandra Morton has taken over from Amy as our new Chair. Sandra first became involved with Oldies Club as a foster carer a number of years ago and then took on the role of Fostering Co-ordinator. Sandra is well known to our foster carers as a calm and helpful voice on the end of the phone when they need advice. She is also famous for getting her bum in the shot when videoing her foster dogs. (Sorry San, couldn’t resist!)

Jo Taylor will be supporting San as Vice Chair. Jo has been involved with Oldies Club virtually from the beginning. Jo is our Web Team Co-ordinator and is also responsible for our Twitter page. (That’ll be me then.)

Everyone involved with Oldies Club is an unpaid volunteer. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who works so very hard for us, simply because they love old dogs. You are all stars.
