30/1/13 Ted has found his new home!
Meet Ted, a very cute Spaniel-sized crossbreed boy (possibly a Jack Russell x Collie). He is around 7 years old and was rescued from the pound over Christmas and brought to live at Chilterns Dog Rescue Society while he looks for his forever home.
Ted is affectionately known at the centre as their ‘piggy bank dog’ because he is quite round and cuddly, mostly white but with a small black mark on the top of his head like the slot on a piggy bank! Although he hasn’t been in rescue long, he has settled in well and is often found in the office making the most of some home comforts while waiting for his next walk.
Ted gets along with others dogs, but may prefer to be the only dog in his new home because he likes lots of attention. He is used to the resident cats and has met older children while out with volunteers at the centre. A busy family home may be a bit much for him, but visiting children should not be a problem.
Ted has no known health problems and is neutered. He is all ready to move into a loving home where he can spend a happy and comfortable retirement with people who love him.
