27/6/13 – Wonderful news from RSPCA West Norfolk: ‘Tuggy has gone to be the constant companion of an elderly gentlemen (who is a proper Grandad type, a lovely man) and he has settled in already! Apparently the son popped in to see how things were going and the gentleman was watching TV, with Tuggy asleep beside him with his head on his new Dad’s lap. It made me cry when he emailed me as the last twice I’ve seen Tuggy he’s been so depressed and just curled up alone in his little bed, in a massive kennel, looking absolutely pitiful. I know too that he is going to sleep on (or in) his Dad’s bed at night-time….just perfect!’
Poor little Tuggy, at the age of 10+, has found himself cruelly abandoned at a time he should be snuggling up on someone’s lap without a care in the world. Instead, this sweet little Jack Russell Terrier boy finds himself alone in kennels, in a strange place surrounded by barking dogs without a familiar face in sight. Tuggy is currently being cared for by the RSPCA West Norfolk who hope this lovely little lad finds a loving home very soon.
Tuggy is a tiny, quiet and gentle boy who is totally bewildered to find himself in kennels. Once he is in a new home and gets used to his new surroundings he is sure to settle and enjoy his new life.
Tuggy will need a minimum of one nice walk a day and a secure, enclosed garden to enjoy with you. He loves human company and hopes you can be around at least half the day to keep him happy. He will be vaccinated and microchipped, and can be rehomed outside the county, within reason and subject to a successful homecheck.
Tuggy seems to take no notice of other dogs and could possibly live with another calm and quiet dog in his new home. He can live with older, sensible and respectful children and maybe even with cats as he is so calm.
It is so sad to see Tuggy curled up in his little bed in the kennel, looking so sad and lost. This sweet boy needs to be in a loving forever home as soon as possible!
