10/2/15 Sad news that Sooty has had to be put to sleep.

Say hello to Sooty! This adorable little lad is a 10 year old Terrier boy who is sadly seeking a loving new home after his owner died. Sooty is now being cared for at National Animal Welfare Trust in Berkshire. Although he likes it there, he hopes he will not be waiting long until his forever people find him.

Sooty is still a bouncy little guy who loves going for walks and playing football. He is a dedicated and talented footballer who spends ages dribbling the ball and bouncing it off his nose!

Sooty can be a little nervous in new situations and when meeting new people. But once he gets to know you, he makes the most loyal and lovable friend. Because of this initial shyness, he is looking for a quiet home without children or other dogs. He likes having human company and does not like being left to long on his own.

A typical terrier, Sooty is a clever boy who is eager to learn. He already knows how to ‘sit’ and ‘give paw’ and would love to learn more, especially if there are treats involved!

Sooty would do best in a active home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He promises to be a faithful and loving companion.
