22/10/2015 Amy went to the vets today to check her eye and teeth – very sadly, they said that she wouldn’t survive the operation that she needed and recommended to let her go while she was with them. So we are devastated to say that Amy has been put to sleep this morning.

Just how cute is this little ball of fluff? Amy is a small Crossbreed girl (Chihuahua cross type) who has also come into the care of Halfway Home Dog Rescue and saved from a sad life in a shelter in Romania.

Amy is 12+ years old and she is a small girl who would like a quiet retirement home without young children please. Amy is fine with other dogs as she is living in a foster home with 3 small terriers. She has seen the resident cat and didn’t react, so she may be fine to live with a cat.

Amy is blind in one eye and her teeth are being checked by the vet this week.
