5/2/15 – Sad news from Cats Protection: ‘This is to inform you that, very tragically, we lost dear old Boris yesterday unexpectedly to kidney failure. He started to go downhill very quickly and the inevitable decision had to be made to send him on his last journey to Rainbow Bridge. It is so sad to think that he was not fortunate enough to experience all the comforts a caring home environment can bring but at least he had many friends at the Adoption Centre and always used to look forward to mealtimes. May our dear old boy rest in peace. Thank you for featuring him on your website.’

This handsome but very shy gentleman is Boris and he is finding life at the Cat Protection’s National Cat Adoption Centre rather difficult.  He prefers to stay in the back of his pen, out of the sight of people – obviously this makes it even more difficult to find this poor lad a home.

Boris is 12 years old and he will need a quiet home without children and preferably as the only pet. Once you have gained his trust he will let you stroke his furry little head and take food from your fingers.

Boris is a lovely cat but his kind heart is hidden under a layer of nervousness. If someone kind, patient and understanding was willing to give this deserving cat a home it would be marvellous. Hewould be a loyal and affectionate companion for a person who is willing to show some patience initially and then be rewarded by lots of feline affection.

Please give this lovely shy lad a chance. You can contact the National Cat Adoption Centre as follows:

Please mention that you saw Boris on the Oldies Club website
