31/3/15 – We have just had the sad news that Charlotte was diagnosed with a large tumour on her spleen. The kindest thing to do was to let her go. Rest easy dear girl.

Charlotte is a collie girl who came to Halfway Home Dog Rescue after finding herself on death row in a Welsh pound.  She is said to be around 8 years old and is extremely thin so needs a peaceful retirement home where she can slowly recover from the past.

She is currently in a foster home and has settled down well.  Her fosterer says:   “She has been no trouble at all.   Sleeps in her crate at night and not a peep out of her.    Gets on ok with my two dogs and walks well on lead, she just plods along next to you.    Seems to be an outside girl as at every opportunity will go under a bush and curls up and goes to sleep, how sad.   As she is so painfully thin only walking little walks at the moment. She needs a lot of tlc to mend her broken body”
