9/10/15 Izzy has found a new home!
—————-

Izzy is a beautiful black and white domestic short haired cat who is 15 years old.  She is in the care of the Leicester Animal Aid Association and has been looking for a new home since June.

Izzy is a lovely girl who is sadly looking for a new home as she had a bad time with a new dog in her old home.  Unfortunately the poor girl was confined to the bathroom for a year without much love or attention which took away a lot of her confidence.

She is now looking for a new home with a caring owner who will give her the love and attention she deserves and continue to build her confidence.  She is quite a shy girl and would be best as an only pet, she may also be ok to live with older sensible children.

Thankfully with the care of the cattery, Izzy has now started to build her confidence.  She was a bit overweight when she first arrived and didn’t like to do too much as she was used to being in one small room.  She has now started to explore more of her surroundings and has even ventured outside into one of the rescues enrichment pens and done some sunbathing!

Izzy has a few health issues as you would expect with an older lady and also because of her lack of care.  She is suffering from arthritis in her legs and is on Metacam medication for this, which will need to be continued for the rest of her life.  She also has some slight signs of possible dementia and incontinence too so will need a patient owner who will help her through this.

Izzy is a wonderful girl who deserves to have a long and happy retirement, so if you think you can give her a new home, then please contact the Leicester Animal Aid Association as follows:
