1/11/15 – Sad news that dear little Sandy has passed away. He was very much loved in his foster home and our thoughts are with his foster family.

Adorable little Sandy desperately needs a home. He is 16 years, 9 months old and he finds himself in rescue with Jerry Green Dog Rescue after the sad passing of his owner. Poor Sandy is now being looked after in a foster home after finding life in kennels much too difficult. He really needs a loving home of his own for the rest of his life.
Sandy is a small crossbreed boy who just needs to be loved and spoilt with all the home comforts. He would like a nice sized garden for roaming about as he doesn’t need to go for long walks on the lead. He would also like his new owners to be around most of the day to keep him company, as well as another similar natured dog to hang out with.
Sandy is not used to children and would do best in an adult home at his age. It’s possible he could live with older, sensible children as long as they give him the space and respect he needs.
Sandy has recently been to the vet for a checkup and they have found he has a heart murmur, which does not need medication at this time. He is also in the very early stages of renal failure so will need special food to help manage this.
