03/03/2017 –  Sadly gorgeous Owen has now passed away.  He had quite a few health issues and had not been well for quite a while.  He stayed with his foster Mum who loved and cared for him until the end………….
Run Free sweet little man!

Gorgeous Owen is a very sprightly 12 year old Staffy, in the care of Senior Staffy Club, at their kennels in, fittingly, Stafford. He can be rehomed anywhere in the UK after a successful home check but potential adopters must come to meet him there in the first instance. He could happily live with a calm, female dog and children over 10. He doesn’t like cats. He’s looking for a quiet, loving home where he’ll have plenty of cuddles, nap time and some short, gentle walks.

Owen is friendly and affectionate with everyone. Snuggling with his very own human will be his favourite thing. He walks well on the lead. He has some arthritis in his legs so he’s a bit wobbly at the moment. This should improve as his muscle tone is built up with gentle exercise and good nutrition. He loves female dogs and is ok with male dogs in passing but doesn’t like it if they come too close. He’s only just been neutered so it’s possible this tension could decrease in time. He’s quite small and very well behaved, especially in the car. Car time soon turns into nap time for Owen.

Owen 6Of course, the most impressive thing about Owen is his stunning, deep red coat. People will want to stop and admire him for it which he will be thrilled about, being such a sociable chap. The loveliest thing about him is how affectionate he is. His extremely loving nature means he’ll be a wonderful companion dog. All he needs now is his own special someone.
