1/7/16 We are so sad to hear that poor Tiggy was nearer the end of her life than was thought and she has now passed away. The saddest thing is that some lovely people had offered Tiggy a home and were due to pick her up today. :( Sleep tight, Tiggy.

Update 27/6/16: The vet has found that Tiggy has liver disease, possibly tumours, and at best she only has a few months to live. It’s unbearable to think of her spending her last few weeks scared and alone in a kennel. Tiggy needs to be an only dog and if possible would like a home with a little garden to potter in. All veterinary costs will be covered by 1 Dog At A Time Rescue UK.

Surely there’s a special person out there for Tiggy? Could you offer her a loving, comfortable home for the time she has left?

Tigruta, Tiggy for short, is a 12 year old Collie Cross type girl who was rescued in Romania and is in kennels in Milton Keynes, being rehomed by 1 Dog At A Time Rescue UK.

Tiggy has had a good home in the past and she is desperate to be in a loving home again. She is such a friendly girl who loves human contact and is extremely affectionate. She just wants to be your faithful shadow. She loves tummy tickles and will roll over at any given moment if one looks likely.

Tiggy is sweet, loving and playful. She is a very clean girl who loves her bed, the thicker the mattress the better, and also enjoys a good grooming. And she enjoys food almost as much as cuddles.

Tiggy is great on the lead. She is OK with some dogs but needs to be an only one as she loves all the attention. Tiggy will chase cats, rabbits and squirrels.

This lovely old girl needs to be in a loving home as soon as possible. Her ideal home would be with a person or couple who can be with her most of the time, though she is fine to be left for 2 or 3 hours.
