12/10/17 – Alfie has been reserved! He’s been extremely popular on Oldies Club and is now deciding which of the lovely homes offered will suit him best. Hooray!

Alfie is an adorable 7 year old Cocker Spaniel boy who has come into the care of Chilterns Dog Rescue Society (CDRS) after his owner died.

Although Alfie had someone at home with him all the time for the past five years, they were ill and not able to give him the attention he needed. He is therefore not well socialised and was not regularly walked. His behaviour and condition has improved considerably since being in rescue and having good food, lots of exercise and training.

Alfie is improving but he is still quite a powerful boy on the lead and needs someone who can handle him. He would prefer a quiet, adult home without other pets. Ideally he would be a great companion for a single male owner who can give him lots of exercise and the structure he needs.

Alfie is a handsome boy who will flourish in a loving home where he can have a set routine and go for lots of walks. He will offer much love and loyalty to the human(s) who can give him this.
