14/12/17 – Lovely little Bella has a new home to go to. Wonderful news!

————————–

Bella is a sweet, pretty little thing with adorably oversized ears. She is a 9 year old Jack Russell terrier who has sadly had a very restricted life. Although she was loved, her elderly owners confined her to a crate and she had no opportunities to go outside, even to the garden. :(

But everything has changed for Bella now that she is at Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Tring, Hertfordshire! A special, understanding, patient and very loving owner is what Bella needs after her sad life with her former owners. And CDRS are making sure this lovely girl goes to a place where she can be happy and loved for the rest of her days.

Bella is already making up for lost time. She loves going for long country walks, meeting new people and dogs. She has learned quickly to walk politely on the lead.

Bella would really blossom in a home where her owner will understand her anxiety when travelling and being left alone for long periods of time due to her traumatic background. A home where she can have regular exercise and is terrier-friendly would suit Bella just fine. She is dog and child-friendly, but she does need lots of attention so she would not like to compete with too many other dogs!

Bella has not met cats but she is used to occasional visits with young grandchildren. She is a remarkably fit and active little lady, although she does have luxating patellas on both hind legs, which do not seem to bother her much; this is a common problem for small dogs.

After her sad, confined life, Bella is ready to have some fun and to feel safe and loved. If you can offer her this, please contact CDRS as follows:
