2/1/18 – We are so pleased to hear that Bert has now found a new home. Yay!

Doesn’t that face make your heart melt? Adorable oldie Bert the Staffy is estimated to be 10 years old and he is at Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre, Biggin Hill, Kent, after being found emaciated and dumped on the streets in the run-up to Christmas.

Bert can live with dogs and he likes children so can live with over 10s, but he can’t live with cats. He will make a lovely, steady companion for his new owner.

Bert is a wonderful, fun-loving dog who is looking for a nice calm home. He is currently enjoying the role of Kennel Reception meeter-and-greeter and he is being exceptionally well behaved (apart from once overnight when he had a midnight feast on the desk!).

Bert has been neutered; he arrived with an enlarged prostate and has had a tumour removed. His bloods came back clear, which is great news as it seems the tumour was caught in time. His teeth were in a poor state and he has had a dental and is having them cleaned daily.

What a special little trooper Bert is.
