26/06/17 – Bubbles has been adopted!
Gorgeous Bubbles is a fuss-loving 10 year old boy who is being fostered through Blue Cross Lewknor in Oxfordshire. He can live with school age children but wants to be the only pet of the household. He would very much like a garden. He likes to talk as well.
Bubbles says, “My foster mum said she would describe me as a cat who has a lot of character and who is fun, playful and loving (not to mention chatty!). I really like a fuss and being groomed; I will wander over to you and lean in ‘asking’ for some attention. However I can also be an independent chap too and will let you know with a swishy tail or a look as if to say “that’s enough thank you very much!”.
“Often I like to curl up with my temporary mum on the sofa to watch a bit of telly in the evenings or on her bed at night while she is asleep. I am a bit big to fit on her lap comfortably so I like to chill out nearby instead. I also love to play, either chasing toys across the floor or leaping up in the air to catch a fishing rod toy whilst it is mid-flight!
“I can forget my age at times and whilst I don’t quite have the stamina that I used to I’ve definitely still got it when it comes to playing. Shoelaces are also great fun to play with although my foster mum has told me several times now that my shoelace tying ‘skills’ are not required to help her put her shoes on.”
Bubbles is on Purina HA diet. He did have skin lesions on his back, probably a reaction to flea bites, but these are healing well now he’s getting some TLC.
