1/9/17 – Ellie is being adopted by her foster carer!

Ellie, or Ellie Belly as she is sometimes affectionately called, is a sweet old Staffie girl who lost her family when her dad died. Her auntie wanted to care for her, but sadly auntie’s dog doesn’t like other canines, so Ellie is now in the care of Senior Staffy Club, being fostered in Bath, Somerset.

Ellie is 12 years old, and she loves all people, including small children. She would be perfect for a family environment and could live with children aged 6 years plus. Ellie is very clean in the house and she’s an affectionate, placid girl – she’ll give you kisses and nibble your ear!

Ellie was recently adopted and whilst she lived quite happily alongside the resident male dog, she unfortunately didn’t get along with the female. They both wanted to be top dog. So, although Ellie is good with other dogs out and about, she would be better suited to a home either as the only dog or perhaps with just a canine boyfriend. Ellie will need a cat-free home.

Even though she’s not a youngster anymore, Ellie still loves her walks, and she’s very good on the lead. She enjoys having a little run around off lead too, chasing a ball.

Ellie suffers with a little seasonal alopecia, but it doesn’t bother her and doesn’t need any treatment. It just looks black where the rest of her gorgeous coat is light red.
