17/1/18 – Elvis has found a home
Elvis is a 12 year old, affectionate cat who’s in the care of Blue Cross Lewknor in Oxfordshire. He could live with sensible, older children. He wants to be an only pet and to have a garden without any bossy, neighbouring cats. He’s not one for politics. He just wants to lounge and look beautiful!
Elvis says, “The staff here tell me that I am a real character – my 4 big loves in life are cuddles with someone on their lap, sleeping, eating and playing with cat nip toys or fishing rod toys. I just love having lots of attention and being in your company; if I could I would chill out on your lap all day long then I would be a very happy boy! I am not quite as active as I used to be, I like the slower and quieter pace of life now (I used to be quite the hunter but those days are behind me now). However, I am still super playful and my inner kitten comes out when there is cat nip around! And I do still like going for a potter around the garden, although I don’t go too far.
“When it’s time for a nap I like to curl up somewhere warm and quiet (in my previous home it was on top of the boiler!). I can be rather vocal at times when I want fuss or food and I can be quite the dribbler when I am really content in your company.”
Elvis has had a dental so he might be less dribbly now…or maybe that’s just what he does when he’s happy!
