22/11/17 – Gorgeous senior citizens Fred and Millie have found their new home. We are so pleased they are going to be in a warm home for winter!

This adorable little pair are Fred and Millie. Fred is an amazing 16 years old, while little Millie is a much younger 12. This sweet, bonded couple are seeking a cosy fire to sleep by with you at their side. All they need is love, warmth and security. Everybody at Ark Animal Rescue has fallen in love with these little sweeties, but winter is coming, so they want to see them warm and comfy in a loving home.
Fred!
Fred is a black and white Jack Russell terrier who is not as outgoing as sister Millie, but he loves a fuss. He is happy just to curl up beside you on the sofa.
Millie!
Millie, the Patterdale terrier, is the more outgoing of the pair and she also loves a fuss. Both little dogs are very affectionate, friendly and happy to be with you.
Fred and Millie love each other but could also share their home with other dogs, although they can bully smaller ones. Although they have lived with children in the past, they would probably do better in an adult home due to their age. They just want to relax without young children bounding around. Cats are a no-no.
Fred and Millie are used to having an owner around them and, in their previous home, they slept either in a crate or on their owner’s bed. They are older dogs, but they still love their walks and can get very excited when the leads come out. At their age, they tend to be quieter and not super playful.
Both sweeties have recently had their vaccinations updated. When at the vet, he recommended for them to have dentals. Fred, however, has a heart murmur (which needs to medication) so the vet is reluctant in his case. The jury is still out on Millie getting her teeth done.
These two sweeties really need to be happy and settled into a new home before winter comes. Could you please make their retirement a lovely time for them, full of comfort and love?
