9/1/18 – Jess has found her new home!

——————-

Jess is a cuddly Lab X girl of about 8-9 years who has been waiting to find her forever home since March! She’s in a foster home in Nottinghamshire through Halfway Home Dog Rescue, so her buoyant nature can still express itself.

Jess would be happy to live with another dog, after friendly introductions. She shares her foster home with one and they get along really well. She’s good with the other dogs she meets out and about too. In fact, she’s friendly with just about everyone…

She is deaf, which means her owners need to take this into consideration. She’s completely oblivious to the fact and just gets on with having a lovely life. Just don’t expect her to have any recall or, for instance, to stop rolling in donkey poo when you say so. Life is such jolly fun, isn’t it?!

Although she loves her walks, she’s not always on the go. She likes plenty of nap time in a comfy bed. Labs, of course, have a remarkable capacity for just relaxing in companionable cosiness. Jess also seems to think she’s a lap dog which can be extremely cosy, given her size! She’ll be content with a nice bed though… as long as she can gaze at you!

She’s very well behaved, doing an excellent sit for a treat. She can be left for a couple of hours and she actually enjoys car rides. Her favourite thing though, is fuss! You can’t have too much love, can you?!

“Need a cuddle?”

It’s hard to know why Jess hasn’t been noticed yet. She can live with children from age 12 and she’s so lovely!
