23/1/18 – Leo has gone to his new home. Wonderful!
———————-

Lovely Leo is an 8 year old, male, brindle, sable and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier Crossbreed, possibly with Bulldog, who was recently transferred to the RSPCA West Hatch in Somerset from another busy Centre.

Leo is young at heart and loves fuss and attention and there’s no doubt that he will make someone the most wonderful companion as you can see from the video of him below:

In the short time Leo has been with the RSPCA, he has shown himself to be a quiet and friendly boy who loves people. You get the impression that Leo is quite worldly-wise and has reached an age where he is looking for a quiet and secure home with people who are at home most of the time to keep him company. It’s understood that Leo can get anxious when left alone and so it will be necessary to get him used to being left on his own gradually.

Whilst Leo walks out nicely with other dogs on the lead, he likes his own space and doesn’t particularly like ill-mannered dogs. So he would be best suited as an only dog in his new home. He also does not want to live with cats.

Leo is neutered and has no known medical needs.
