Hello. Dogs are so very precious, aren’t they? Very much loved members of so many families. Here at Oldies Club, we have dedicated our volunteer work to rescuing and rehoming older dogs in the UK for almost 12 years now. Of course we love our oldies every day of the year, but we celebrate Love an Oldie Day on 14th February and invite you to make a donation – please CLICK HERE – to help us in our rescue work. Please?

If you donate via our special fundraising page, you can choose to add a message to appear with the details of your donation, if you wish. Perhaps you would like to dedicate the donation to a beloved animal friend, past or present, or a special animal-loving person in your life?

Love an Oldie Day 2017

Oldies Club is a volunteer-run charity that rescues and rehomes older dogs, aged 7 plus. We take in dogs from all sorts of situations. Some may sadly have never known a loving home, until they find their way to us. Others come to us, much loved, as a result of sad and difficult circumstances. Our role is to place them in a suitably wonderful foster home, where they will be helped to feel as loved, comfortable and secure as possible, while our rehoming volunteers work to find them a forever home where they can remain for the rest of their days … and hopefully years!

Our vet bills run into thousands of pounds each and every month and so we hope to raise as much money as possible through this page, this Love an Oldie Day, to support our ongoing volunteer work. The charity covers the cost of all veterinary treatment while Oldies Club dogs are in foster care and we make sure they have all they need, just as we do for our own dogs. We truly appreciate donations of any amount, so please never feel that what you can spare is too small.

Please tell your dog-loving friends and family about our rescue work too. The more support we are given, the more we can help older dogs!

This year, we are celebrating with the help of this adorable pair known as Buster and Ziggy who, at the time of writing, are still waiting for a forever home. You can find out more about Buster and Ziggy here.

Along with rescuing and rehoming our own older dogs, we also advertise older dogs for many other UK rescues, free of charge, on our website, helping to boost the general adoption of older dogs :-)

With love,
