19/11/17 – Matilda and Honey have found a home

————

This pair of cuties are Matilda and Honey, 7 year old Lhasa Apso sisters who love each other very much and go everywhere together. They come as a pair only, and double up on the cuteness. Matilda and Honey are currently in a foster home in South Wales provided by Friends of the Animals.

Matilda and Honey love to cuddle together in their bed or on the sofa. Honey usually takes the lead, with Matilda following right behind. Matilda is shy but she is starting to come out of her shell and has even ventured into the garden alone when necessary. Honey is a bit more outgoing and she loves a fuss. If she sees Matilda enjoying attention, she makes sure to get in on it too!

Both girls enjoy human company, although they are a little hesitant at first. As soon as cuddles are involved, they settle in and love every minute of it. They are also happy to be with other calm dogs and would benefit from having another dog in their new home, to help guide them as to how to be pets.

Honey and Matilda are like a couple of little hedgehogs who hustle and bustle around the house but are happiest when cuddled up in their bed together, snoring away like a couple of drunken sailors. They enjoy their food too, when they are awake. Matilda’s eyesight is not great, but she gets along fine.

These two ladies have little experience with the outside world so are a little overwhelmed still when they go out. They are getting better, but both could stand to use more training to use the potty outside. They can live with older, calm children.

Matilda and Honey deserve lots of attention and cuddles. And of course to be together for the rest of their days.

Potential adopters will need to visit them in their foster home in Rhondda, South Wales.

If you are interested in bringing these two sweeties into your life, please fill out an adoption form at the Friends of the Animals website here.
