Max is a lovable crossbreed boy of 13 years who’s looking for a happy retirement home through Dogs Trust Merseyside. He’s in foster at the moment but it’s only temporary and he really doesn’t want to have to go into kennels because he’s such a people person!

He absolutely adores human company and can live with children aged 10 or over. He still enjoys his walks and mooching about the garden but he’s also more than happy curled up by the radiator on his bed.

When the mood strikes him, he loves to play with tennis balls, and he’ll let you know by dropping one at your feet as if to say “game on”!

Max loves all humans but he isn’t keen on doggy interactions so will need to be the only pet at home and have walks in a quiet area. He’s housetrained but gets upset if he’s left at home alone as he’s used to being a constant companion.
