18/10/17 – Mimi has been adopted! She’s gone to her new home and staff at Danaher were doing a happy dance in celebration!

Sweet and gentle Mimi is a female, 10 year old Bull Breed Cross. She is a lovely girl who has been in kennels with the RSPCA Danaher Animal Home in Essex for a while and would now love to find her forever home soon.

Mimi is very friendly, affectionate and desperate for human company. She would suit a quieter household that will take her on leisurely walks every day. She loves to play with her toys, especially her teddies.

Mimi is very gentle and has been assessed as suitable to live with children aged 8+. She is fine walking with calm and friendly dogs outside and greets them calmly, so she may be able to live with a doggy friend if they get on, but she would also be very happy getting all the fuss herself! She would not want to live with cats.

Mimi came to into rescue with a severe eye infection and the vet felt there was no option but to remove it. She’s very used to this now and it causes her no problem. However, Mimi has been reassessed by the vet who thinks she is losing the sight in her remaining eye. Any new adopter will need to be able to support her through this difficult time and be prepared to take on a dog who may at some point be completely blind.

Mimi is a neutered, fit and generally healthy lady. She enjoys her walks and would love longer ones than she is able to have in kennels.
