7/3/19 – Absolutely brilliant news for Nero – he has found a new home at last! Here he is with his thank-you card for the people at Bath Cats & Dogs Home, and he left some treats and toys for the other dogs at the rescue. How lovely!

Say hello to big boy Nero! This gorgeous hunk of a dog is an 8 year old Boxer cross who is seeking a loving new home with the help of Bath Cats and Dogs Home. They really hope to find Nero a home and owners who are as special as he is!
Nero is an independent chap who is happy to chill out by himself, but he does like knowing you are around. He would prefer a home with someone who can be home a lot just so he can feel comfortable in your presence. He particularly loves men, so it would be great for him to have a male owner who he can bond with.
Nero needs to be an only dog and is too big and boisterous to live with children. He is still quite playful and enjoys a good game of tug if you are up for it. When out walking, he prefers a quieter environment where he will not be running into many other dogs. While out he wears his muzzle happily and he loves just trotting alongside you in the fields, snuffling along and exploring. He also enjoys relaxing in the garden or going off-lead in a secure area.
Nero is a special boy who will devote himself to you if you show him love and kindness. He will make a loving and loyal pet to his new owner.
