21/10/17 – Peggy has been rehomed!

This beautiful girl is steady Peggy and she is a big and beautiful Rottie who recently made the news when she was found abandoned, tied to the railings in a park on the hottest day of the year. Who could do that to such a wonderful dog?

Thankfully beautiful Peggy is now safe in rescue with Dunroamin K9 Rescue who are helping her find a comfy bed and a kind hand.

Peggy is living in a foster home now which she shares with three other dogs. She loves them and she loves her foster mum. She does not like raised arms or voices though. This is probably from her past, but understandable.

Peggy is a bit on the rotund lady at the moment. The vets say this is because she has an underactive thyroid so she is now taking tablets for that now that should help. She also has a bit of arthritis in her legs and takes cod liver oil for that.

Peggy enjoys trotting along with her foster buddies, but more than anything she loves her bed. What she would love more than anything is a forever human and a canine companion to play with. She is good with kids, but because of her size, she needs to live with children over 8. And no cats please!

So, form an orderly queue – Peggy is waiting for you!
