30/10/17 – Pepe has moved in with a lovely retired lady who loves him to pieces!

Pepe is a sprightly 14 year old Poodle in the care of RSPCA Northamptonshire. This sweet boy has several health issues, therefore they want to rehome him within the county, so they can offer their full support. They would be happy for him to either be adopted OR fostered long term, when they will cover his vet bills… because he’s worth it!

RSPCA Northamptonshire say, “This lovely boy came into our care when sadly his elderly owner could no longer care for him. He has a condition called dry eye which requires his carer to regularly bathe his eyes and administer eye drops, at least three times daily. He is on supplements to support his liver function. We have been unable to neuter Pepe due to his age and health issues so he will need to be the only dog in the house.

“Despite these issues, Pepe loves life and loves nothing more than going for long walks with our fab volunteers. His health care will involve continued assessment. Ideally, his carer will have their own transport for vet visits when needed. Most importantly, they must have enough time to spend meeting his medical needs and keeping him company. We just adore Pepe and want him to spend his twilight days in a loving home.”
