12/1/18 – Gorgeous Radley has found a home!
——————

Radley is a beautiful cream coloured Lurcher boy of 12 years, with silly ears! He’s in the care of Last Chance Animal Rescue in New Romney, Kent while he waits for a relaxing retirement home. Children from age 8 should be fine for him as he’s a very good natured chap, but he must be able to rest when he wants to.

He’s a sweet and affectionate boy. Gentle and playful, he likes to play with other dogs so he could probably share his home with one, after happy introductions. Cats are best avoided. They will run away provocatively, won’t they?!

On walks, his recall is a bit unreliable, what with all the distracting sights of the great outdoors! Radley does love having the chance for a good run around sometimes. A short one though, as he gets tired quite quickly. Bless him!

What lurchers like Radley really excel at is lounging! Luxuriating on their bed or a sofa, looking extravagantly relaxed while they build up their energy reserves for their main afternoon nap. They’ve really got life sussed!

Placid old Radley is neutered. He has the onset of arthritis and is on a daily dose of Metacam for it, so he can still sprint when the mood takes him.
