7/1/2018 – Special little Rolo has found his new home :)

Rolo is a corgi sized, older gentleman looking for his retirement home. He’s in foster care with other dogs in South Shields, Tyne and Wear through Safe Rescue.

His foster carer says, “Rolo really is such a special boy and one of the most heart-warming dogs I’ve looked after. He arrived at my door depressed, exhausted and aching having known nothing but hardship and struggle all of his life…

“… after a good rest, a bath and medicine for his aches and pains he’s a different dog!

“When he’s not snoozing, (which he does enjoy!) he’s happy, bright and full of waggles and follows us round the house looking for cuddles and tickles. He gets on well with the other dogs in the house, but he’s a bit old for playtime, even though he tries!

“He loves to be out and he enjoys his walks. He can’t go too far but a couple of half hour walks a day would suit him perfectly.” And he’ll want plenty of nap time in between!

Rolo walks nicely on the lead, he’s house trained and is fine in the car. What a good boy! Being a nap-loving lad, he’d probably rather have an adult only retirement home.
