Slaney (Romford Greyhound Homing, Essex)

Slaney is an older greyhound gentleman, born in 2008, and living in kennels at Romford Greyhound Homing in Brentwood, Essex. Slaney retired from racing a couple of years ago, but is still waiting for that elusive forever sofa.

Slaney can feel a bit nervous around children, so he’s looking for a quiet adult-only home without visiting children. He’s not used to other breeds of dog yet, but is being socialised by the rescue volunteers. He could live as an only dog in his new home, or share with a calm female greyhound.

Slaney loves getting out for his walks and he’s used to wearing a muzzle whilst his socialisation continues. He’d obviously love to have a garden to play in, and a big comfy bed would be essential of course! Greyhounds do love to take very long naps!

Slaney is neutered and has no known medical conditions.
