16/11/17 – Gorgeous little Spike has found a new home with a lovely lady owner. Good luck, Spike!
——————–

Spike is 13 year old Miniature Pinscher boy who has been returned to his breeder in Redruth, Cornwall, because his owner is sadly terminally ill. Although Spike will always have a safe place back with his breeder, it is felt that he would be happier in a quieter home with fewer dogs, as he is used to enjoying a peaceful life with an older owner. Spike is being rehomed privately by his breeder.

Spike is a lovely, sociable lad who gets on fine with dogs and ignores cats. He is very sweet with all people and was lovely with a 5 year old he met recently, so he would be happy to be around visiting children in his new home.

He is still fairly active and enjoys short walks regularly each day. He is good in the car in a cage.

Spike has a very slight heart murmur which needs no medication. His mouth was in need of a dental which has now been done and all is now good in his mouth. He has a bit of muscle wastage on his head but this doesn’t affect him and he eats well. He isn’t neutered, which has only just been noted, as they are so tiny! If this is a concern he can be castrated. His vaccinations are up to date.

Spike is being rehomed privately by Nicky who has stated that Spike can go back there if his new home doesn’t work out for any reason. Prospective adopters will be homechecked.
