Trigga is a sweet Staffy Cross boy, thought to be between 8 and 10 years old, who is at Wellingborough Dog Welfare in Northamptonshire after being found as a stray. He’s been waiting there for a while, so we’re hoping that he will find his new owner among the wonderful people that visit the Oldies Club website.

You can see Trigga playing nicely in this short video:

Trigga is a lovely, good-natured boy who could live with children aged 10+ and with a calm but playful dog subject to happy introductions at the kennels. He is a bit too excitable around cats to be able to live with them. He would be best in a home where he won’t need to be left for too long as he shows some mild separation anxiety, but this might just be due to living in the kennel environment for a while.

Trigga has mild hip dysplasia but isn’t on any medication, just YuMove joint supplements. He has cataracts and so his eyesight is not particularly great and he needs to be very close to something to see it properly, bless him. He is neutered.

Trigga is still fairly energetic and strong. He gets excited when he first meets a dog, but this is because he can’t see them properly until he is quite close to them. He doesn’t react to aggressive dogs. He loves a game of ball, but it needs to be brightly coloured so that he can find it! He also enjoys a bit of peace and quiet, and a relaxing snooze, so would prefer any children in his home to be calm and older.
