9/1/18 – Zonda has had lots of lovely people offer him a home. He is busy sifting through the many applicants to find his favourite. Chilterns can’t accept any more applications for him. Thank you!

Zonda is a 7 year old black Labrador boy who is at Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Tring, Hertfordshire, needing a new home because of his family’s work demands and them having little time to spend with him. Zonda was missing out on the companionship and exercise he needed.

Zonda is a very handsome boy and he has a fantastic nature. He is gentle, playful and loving. He is also keen to please but can be a bit excitable.

He has lived in a family home with three older children and he enjoys meeting new friends and dogs. He can live with other dogs but can’t live with cats. He is a big dog and was very overweight when he arrived in rescue but is now down to 36kg. He is quite a strong lad and will need further training to continue the good work that Chilterns staff have done to address his pulling on the lead.

Zonda’s new owner or family must be able to give him lots of daily exercise, and have someone at home for most of the day, although he can be left for a number of hours if required occasionally.

Zonda must have a secure garden. He has no known health issues and is neutered.
