Lillie (Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary)

LILLIE IS OUR OLD DOG OF THE WEEK!
10 year old, sweetie girl Lillie has been in kennels since she was 5. That’s right, 5 years in kennels. “Why?!” – we hear you cry. Well, um… because she needs to be an only pet and she’s yet another Staffy? “But surely there’s lots of people she’d be perfect for!” – We couldn’t agree more. Please share her page far and wide so they can find her!

Tara (Waggin’ Trails Rescue, fostered Lincolnshire)

Beautiful Tara is looking for a comfortable retirement home where she can enjoy gentle walks, a comfy bed and a garden she can potter about in. After spending years in a public shelter, this lovely lady deserves a taste of the quiet life. Tara is good with other dogs and could possibly live with cats.

Rita (Safe Rescue, fostered Lincolnshire)

Cute Collie Cross Rita is absolutely blooming in foster care after a hard life in Romania. She now loves being kissed and groomed and having a toy to play with – all new to her. Rita is fantastic with dogs and needs a companion to help show her the way. She would suit a quiet home without young children. It’s time for her to enjoy a wonderful life in a forever, loving home.

Summer (Leicester Animal Aid)

Summer is so aptly named as she’s a ray of sunshine spreading happiness all round. She has a lovely smile and lots of love to give. As she loves her toys a little too much, Summer needs to be the only pet and with older, teenage children as she doesn’t like to share. She thinks she would make a wonderful personal assistant.

Delilah (Leicester Animal Aid)

Kisses, cuddles and loyalty are offered by lovely Delilah and you will be singing “why, why, why Delilah” you weren’t lucky enough to adopt her sooner. She could enjoy a canine companion for romantic strolls and children over 12 years. Delilah would always be totally devoted to her family.

Sandy (Leicester Animal Aid)

Lovely Lurcher Sandy is very sweet natured and has lots of love to give. She would be happy sharing her bed with another special canine or snuggling up to older, teenage children. She’s a chatter box and loves a good pampering. Are you her special person?

Jess (Halfway Home Dog Rescue, Notts)

The thing about having a lovely white coat is, it does rather show your human what you’ve been rolling in. But a dog’s gotta do what a dog’s gotta do! Luckily, if you’re deaf, you can’t hear anyone sounding cross and everyone always seems super happy to see you. Life is the best! Who needs some Jess love?!

Holly (Jerry Green Dog Rescue, South Lincolnshire)

Holly’s fluffy coat should be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty! She’s a small Collie cross girl who really loves human company and wants dog friend too. She likes to be fussed practically all day long, interspersed with a game of fetch. Holly is perfect!

Lilly (Ark Animal Rescue, Lincolnshire coast)

Lovely LIlly is a Staffy/Labrador Cross and is such a sweet, friendly girl. She is used to living with children and is fantastic with them, but she needs a pet-free home. Lilly is well behaved, house-trained and can be left. All she needs now is a loving home for her senior years.

Robbie (Jerry Green Dog Rescue, Nottinghamshire)

Robbie is an exuberant and loving little dog who likes to follow you around for reassurance. He is seeking a quiet understanding home as he is partially sighted and deaf. He will make a wonderful, loving little companion in a calm, loving home.

Major (Rain Rescue, South Yorkshire)

Major is a typically bouncy bull breed, brimming over with joy and love. He might be able to live with another friendly dog and older children. He is basically a beach ball in the form of a dog. Come and meet him… he’ll be thrilled!

Ruby (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, Yorkshire)

Cute little Ruby sadly finds herself in kennels after her owner passed away and needs a new home quickly. She’s a lovely girl who loves a fuss and a cuddle. She enjoys a walk and likes her toys for herself, so she would be best as an only pet. Can you help Ruby?

Jack and Poppy (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, fostered Yorkshire)

Jack and Poppy are beautiful Labradors looking for a home together with that special someone. Jack is sprightly with a lovely, cheeky character and Poppy adores everyone. They get on really well with other dogs and live with a cat in their foster home. Jack and Poppy are just lovely.

Brandy (Leicester Animal Aid)

With such handsome looks and a wonderful personality to match, you’d expect Brandy to have been snapped up ages ago. Sadly, he’s still in kennels after a whole year. Happy, cheeky and full of energy; Brandy just wants someone to love and share life’s adventures with. How can anyone resist him!?

Peace-loving Princess! (Oldies Club, fostered Shropshire)

Jessie (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, Yorkshire)

Jessie is a little lady who loves walkies, fuss and lap time. Part Patterdale, part Pug – she has the joy of gallivanting and play, combined with a super soppy side. She’s a very good girl, especially if you have biscuits. The perfect companion for picnics!

Priscilla (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Beautiful Priscilla has had a troubled past, making her timid of humans and, frankly, bossy with the other dogs in her foster home! She’s gradually learning how nice it is to be loved. A peaceful home, with people who are kind and understanding for this lovely lady please!

Fetita (Ali’s Hope For Dogs, Norfolk)

After years of hardship, Fetita has transformed into the perfect lady now enjoying home comforts in the U.K. Nothing fazes her; she loves her humans, young and old. She’s good other dogs but wants to be an only pet at home. She’s just lapping up every second of her new life. A forever home would fulfil her dreams.

Bindi (Senior Staffy Club, fostered Gloucestershire)

Unbelievably, this pretty little lady has been waiting in rescue for a whole year! This might be because she was poorly on arrival and needed lots of vet treatment. But she’s so much better now and is so ready to find a settled home. Could Bindi be your new friend?

Rags and Misty (RSPCA Derby & District Branch)

Rags is 17 and, along with best friend Misty, faces a cold winter in kennels unless a lovely person offers them a new home together. They are a super pair of Jack Russells, good with dogs and children, and just want a warm, comfortable home to snuggle up in. Perhaps you could help?

Teala (Animal Rescue Cymru, West Wales)

Teala is a gorgeous Labrador Cross who has been waiting far too long for that lovely home. She’s very loving, friendly, affectionate and typically just loves her food. A pet-free home where any children are older would be perfect so she can have all the cuddles she deserves.

Albita (Safe Rescue, fostered Norwich)

It’s astonishing that Labrador cross Albita has been waiting for her forever home for so long! She’s gentle, loving, good with other dogs and sensible children. She loves her walks and is always well behaved. The only explanation is that the fates have reserved her for the extra special person reading this appeal right now!

Pepe (RSPCA Northamptonshire)

Pepe the Poodle is ever so slightly cute! He’s loving, cheeky and really enjoys his walks. He has a few medical issues and needs an owner who can give him TLC. He can be adopted or fostered long term. He’ll repay your kindness with all the love and joy you could wish for!

Bairn (Hilbrae Rescue Kennels, Shropshire)

Poor old Bairn has found himself in kennels at the grand age of 13. He was in a bit of a state, but is much better now and is keeping his paws crossed that someone will adopt him soon. Bairn is still playful and loves his walks and he could probably live with a female canine companion.
