Trigger (Homeless Hounds, Lancashire)

Available to foster as well as adopt, cheerful Trigger has a lot of love to give and really wants his own person or family to adore. He’s good with other dogs and cats. Children from 13 years would be great fun for him. He’s obedient and gentle by nature, as well as very affectionate and funny. Do you need some more sunshine in your life?

Sweet and gentle, Zac is a friendly American Bulldog. He knows his basic commands and is good to walk on-lead. He doesn’t need an active home, just a couple of short walks and some playtime with his toys. He can live with older children and is dog-friendly. Zac just needs a place to call home.

Skippy (Homeless Hounds, fostered Lancashire)

Is there anything sweeter than an oldie whippet? Skippy used to live with an older person in a quiet home and would love to have a quiet home for the rest of his days. He’s still fairly active, despite having some arthritis, and he gets on well with dogs. Could you offer him a home in the North West region?

Major is a handsome, white German Shepherd Cross who knows basic commands and, with some patient training, has lots of potential. He can get over-excited with other dogs, but he can live with children and dog-savvy cats. Major can be left alone but does love to be with his people. He’s a lovely lad.

Jessie is a very friendly girl who loves a fuss or, if you’re busy, just to be as close to you as she can. She’s a total sweetie and her manners are beautiful with all humans but she hasn’t been socialised with other animals so she needs to be an only pet. Poor Jessie has had a boring existence for far too long and cannot wait to be shown all the love and fun she deserves!

Max is a sweet old boy who finds himself in need of a new home at the age of 13. He enjoys gentle walks, but will just stop and rest for 10 minutes if it all gets too much for his old bones. Max can live with cats and with old dogs like himself. He loves considerate children too. Could you offer Max companionship and a gentle pace of life?

Floyd loves a bit of fuss from those he trusts, as well as the company of other dogs. This means he’s stayed cheerful throughout his time in kennels. He’s extremely bright and engaging, assertive, affectionate and also, very cool! He seeks a person with the same qualities and the right type of home – an adult only home in a quiet area. Gorgeous Cass is a gentle German Shepherd who is desperate to get out of kennels and find a loving family of her own. She is around 7 years old with a beautiful smile. She is quite shy, but very loving and affectionate. She is looking for a quieter new home. She may be able to live with older children over 9, but equally would enjoy an adult only home without any other pets where she can have you all to herself. With his fluffy, Lion-like mane Buzz cuts a dashing figure but really, he’s a sensitive and loving soul. He’s used to sensible youngsters and could live in a family with children from 12 years. Although good with some dogs, he would rather be an only pet at home. Buzz has been a much loved, well brought up dog. He knows lots of commands and is a very obedient. He needs a calm owner/family, plenty of love and he likes a good brushy-brush!

Diesel is such a cuddly boy! He’s really affectionate and wants his very own human to snuggle up to. He’ll snore away contentedly in your bed if possible.
