This big hunk of love is Ozzy, a gorgeous Bullmastiff with a wonderful nature. He’s great with children and a gent around the home. If you love big dogs but prefer them to be in their own bed rather than yours, Ozzy could be the boy for you as he refuses to get on any furniture or to go upstairs! Tyson is such a sweetheart. He is so affectionate, loving and just wants to be with the people he loves and devote himself to them. Freshfields just adore him and are desperate he gets his happy ending. Tyson is fine with dogs out and about but would prefer to be the only pet in the home where any children should be older teenagers. This sweet, little gentleman is called Ozzy and he’s a Shih Tzu. Ozzy has a wonderful personality and the staff and dog walkers just adore him, though he can be a tad grumpy if he doesn’t like something. He’s an affectionate boy who loves to sit and have cuddles. Ozzy needs a calm home without children and other pets, but he would make a wonderful and loyal friend.

Maddie & Rocky (Rain Rescue, South Yorkshire)

Maddie and Rocky such a cute and cuddly pair, they’re practically koala bears! They can be rehomed together or separately. Both are irrepressibly cheerful, super affectionate and will focus on what you want them to do for a treat as though their lives depend on it. They are ever so slightly adorable!

Big, bouncy Ben is a bright and friendly boy who could fit into most families very nicely. He is used to living with another dog and also cats, though he is a little too boisterous for small children. He loves to play with his toys and so deserves the chance of a happy life with someone who will really care for him.

Tye (RSPCA Macclesfield, fostered Cheshire)

Tye is just beginning to realise how wonderful life can be now that he’s safely in a foster home after being intentionally starved. He would like a home with another doggy companion and preferably adult-only or with children aged 10+. Mighty Hercules has overcome a life of cruelty in blood sports and is a gentleman, grand in stature with a beautiful face with scars that tell a very sad story. He’s a placid chap who’s lovely on the lead. Hercules tends to ignore dogs and cannot live with small animals, though he can be rehomed with children aged 10+. He’s now free to enjoy the good life he surely deserves.

Ricky (Boxer Dog Rescue Northern England, North West)

Ricky is a handsome Boxer lad who is looking for an active, loving home through no fault of his own. He is good with children but needs to be the only pet in the home. Ricky would benefit from an owner who could continue his training and socialisation, but he’s worth it.

Major (Homeless Hounds, Lancashire)

Major is a handsome, white German Shepherd Cross who knows basic commands and, with some patient training, has lots of potential. He can get over-excited with other dogs, but he can live with children and dog-savvy cats. Major can be left alone but does love to be with his people. He’s a lovely lad.

Noodles, a splendid Shar Pei, did find a new home but he so loved his new people that he panicked when they went out to work, and he had to return to Freshfields. Floyd loves a bit of fuss from those he trusts, as well as the company of other dogs. This means he’s stayed cheerful throughout his time in kennels. He’s extremely bright and engaging, assertive, affectionate and also, very cool! He seeks a person with the same qualities and the right type of home – an adult only home in a quiet area. Alfie is a very friendly, affectionate fellow with a gentle nature who loves a cuddle! He’s good with kids, can live with cats and he was fine with other dogs until the stress of kennel life started getting to him. He’s only a recent arrival so as long as he’s whisked away by a loving family soon he’ll be able to relax again. Despite his situation he’s really happy whenever he’s with people. Diesel is such a cuddly boy! He’s really affectionate and wants his very own human to snuggle up to. He’ll snore away contentedly in your bed if possible. A tennis ball or Kong bring out his playful side which is a joy to watch. He’s fun, he’s jolly and he always wants a cuddle.
