Gentle Jemima is a small Lurcher lady who is really cuddly with the people and dogs that she knows. Meeting new dogs can be scary for her because she’s very nearly blind. For this reason, it’s thought that if she had a big enough garden she won’t need walks. Her hearing is so good that she can still play fetch with you and she likes to snuffle about a lot too. Someone who doesn’t get out much would be perfect for her as she needs company to feel safe and loved. She’s a wonderfully soppy companion! Sam is a bright, inquisitive boy who is sadly not getting the attention and exercise he needs at the moment. He is a great dog, with a terrific character, who gets on with other dogs and can live with older children. He also loves to eat apples, so he hopes you keep some around the house for him!

Max and Angel (UK German Shepherd Rescue, Warwickshire)

Max and Angel are a bonded pair of stunning German Shepherds. They are both lovely natured and affectionate with so much to give. They are fine with older children, but are not used to cats. They are good on-lead and have good recall. Who can resist double the love with these two?

Poor Pickles has a sad story now that she has to find a new home after a new puppy joined the family and they do not get on, resulting in Pickles being kept separate from everybody in the family now, including dogs and visiting grandchildren, whom she has always been okay with. Youngster Finnegan is a very special Carpathian Shepherd dog in every sense of the word. He is indeed a three-legged, bear of a dog, but oh so fun-loving and enthusiastic. He takes everything in his stride with great humour and love on his part. Finnegan gets on great with other dogs but has not been cat tested. He’s too big and clumsy for small children but would be fine with older ones. All you need is a big heart and a good sense of humour.

Henry and Bob (Last Chance Animal Rescue, Kent)

Bob and Henry are friendly sweet little dogs who like lots of fuss, cuddles and attention! Being Corgi crosses they’re built close to the ground and so only a gentle walkies for you will require niftier footwork from them, with the obligatory stopping to be adored by everyone they meet. Life with Henry and Bob will be relaxed and full of love!

Sadly, Vincent has suffered a lot in his life in Romania and now just needs a lot of love and TLC in a loving, retirement home. He just loves lounging lazily on the sofa with a full stomach; it’s his idea of heaven. Vinnie likes the company of another calm dog and enjoys a fuss from older, quiet children. He truly deserves all the love he can get now to make up for all he’s missed in life.

Here is adorable Jimbob showing off his most cuddly aspect – his tummy! Jimbob is a sweet little guy who just wants to feel safe and secure in a loving home surrounded by caring people. He is a little wary around other dogs after having lived in a public shelter in Romania, so he would like to be your only one. And he has more than enough love to give on his own!

Tuchi is a sweet and amiable little lad with an adorable long fat body supported by short little legs! He is seeking a quieter home where he can have lots of fuss and cuddles. Handsome Kaos is a bit of a ladies man and gets very attached to his owner in true German Shepherd style. He could live with children of any age and another steady, female dog, though he’s not keen on cats. Kaos has good recall, walks well on a harness and travels fine in the car. He’s now free to enjoy the good life he surely deserves.

Buddy would be best as an only dog but gets on great with children and had a ferret as his best friend! Buddy just needs a chance and he will reward you with great loyalty.

Laser is a stunning Greyhound who has worked hard all his life. He’s fit and well and up for a good run. Laser is very intelligent, well-trained and placid. He can live with children and other dogs but not cats. He would be so happy to lie upside down on your sofa.
