Jess & Maddie (Evesham Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue, Worcestershire)

JESS AND MADDIE ARE OUR OLD DOGS OF THE WEEK!
Two Lurcher girls are so much better than one! Jess and Maddie keep each other relaxed and entertained so all they need from you is fuss, food, walks and a comfy bed each. They love other dogs, making them a joy to take out. They’re undemanding but extremely loving. If you want twice the cuddles for half the effort, then look no further!

Buddy (Essex Greyhound Rescue)

Buddy is a very friendly Greyhound who loves people. He’s been a long time in kennels since retirement and deserves a quiet, loving home to enjoy his comforts. Buddy needs to be the only pet but can live with older children. Could you give him a chance of happiness?

Garrick (Forever Hounds Trust, Hertfordshire)

Garrick is an amazing mix of vivacity and cuddle-ability. He’s looking for a fun person or family to entertain and snuggle up to. He’d be happy to live with other medium sized dogs (such fun!). You’ll need to be handy with a brush for this friendly, fluffy fellow.

Zena (RSPCA Cornwall)

Zena is an incredibly gorgeous, golden Whippet X Greyhound girl. She has a sensitive, gentle nature. She loves a fuss once she gets to know you. She wants an adult only home and could maybe live with another calm dog. Comfort and love are her priorities in life. Maybe some walkies in the woods too, so she can perfect her majestic Deer impression. Pretty good, isn’t it?!

Buddy (Lurcher Link, West Yorkshire)

Cute Buddy found himself in the pound due to no fault of his own. He’s desperately looking for his owners and needs someone to bond with. Buddy would be best as an only dog but gets on great with children and had a ferret as his best friend! Buddy just needs a chance and he will reward you with great loyalty.

Laser (Lurcher Link, County Durham)

Laser is a stunning Greyhound who has worked hard all his life. He’s fit and well and up for a good run. Laser is very intelligent, well-trained and placid. He can live with children and other dogs but not cats. He would be so happy to lie upside down on your sofa.

Taz (Adopt A Dog North East, Durham)

After suffering horrendous abuse and neglect, Taz has so much love to give. He’s the most loving boy and adores his cuddles and home comforts. Taz is fine with children and other dogs but cannot live with cats. He is looking for a stable, kind home with someone wanting a companion to love and get love in return.

Skippy (Homeless Hounds, fostered Lancashire)

Is there anything sweeter than an oldie whippet? Skippy used to live with an older person in a quiet home and would love to have a quiet home for the rest of his days. He’s still fairly active, despite having some arthritis, and he gets on well with dogs. Could you offer him a home in the North West region?

Groovy (Romford Greyhound Homing, Essex)

Graceful Groovy is a placid, loving Greyhound lady who no longer needs walks, as long as she has a good sized garden to potter about it. She’s ideally suited to someone who wants a doting canine companion but cannot take them for walks. Comfort and love are all Groovy asks for these days. Do you have a garden and a Groovy sized gap in your life?

Miller (Essex Greyhound Rescue)

Poor Miller has never lived in a home and would so much love to be part of a family and to experience the love and home comforts he deserves. He is still quite active and would love lots of long walks and play time. Miller could possibly live with another greyhound or lurcher and can share his home with children.

Elvis (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, South Yorkshire)

Say hello to beautiful Elvis. As Elvis songs go, he’s definitely A Big Hunk o’ Love! True to the Lurcher brand, he’s a chilled out and loving boy who wants nothing more than a good chin scratch and a sofa to call his own! This boy is no Hound Dog, he’s (last one!) an Earth Angel…
…who’s been All Shook Up (sorry, it’s irresistible)!

Brandy (Leicester Animal Aid)

Brandy is a beautiful Lurcher boy with a cheeky character and gorgeous brown eyes. He’d like to be your only pet and receive an abundance of kisses and cuddles. Brandy would like a home without children and with a nice secure garden where he can burn off energy.

Jemima (Southern Lurcher Rescue, fostered Hampshire)

Jemima is a small, affectionate girl who doesn’t need much exercise but does need a lot of love and understanding because she almost completely blind. She’d love to be an only pet and to have a big garden so she doesn’t have to face the big wide world every day. She needs an owner who’s calm and confident, to make her feel safe. In return she’ll follow you round to be helpful and always be on hand for snuggles and belly rubs! 23/02/2017 – This poor girl is still sadly waiting! 🙁

Biscuit – female! (Dogs Trust West Calder, Scotland)

Biscuit is a pretty girl who has been waiting years for a new home. 🙁 She can be a little shy at first but she soon becomes friends. Biscuit doesn’t like to be left on her own. She needs a quiet home with people who are around most of the time. She’s housetrained and loves a trip out in the car. Could you be the person Biscuit has been waiting for? 09/02/2017 – Beautiful Biscuit is still waiting! 🙁

Chuckie (Greyhound Gap, Staffordshire)

If you are looking for a devoted older dog that loves walks, then look no further! Chuckie is a loyal Lurcher x Shepherd boy who gets overlooked because he is older, and yet he really doesn’t act like an old dog at all. He likes children and he could live with a mature female dog. Chuckie’s so fed up of waiting in kennels – is he waiting for you? 02/02/2017 – Chuckie still needs a home. 🙁
